Orlando, Florida, USA, January 22, 2007 - Interchange Solutions, makers of Salesplace CRM for IBM Lotus Notes and BlackBerry Devices, today at Lotusphere 2007 announced the arrival of their newest release of Salesplace - once again proving that Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime and BlackBerry can work effectively together to “pump up productivity”.

Interchange Solutions is releasing their 4th generation Salesplace BlackBerry Edition at Lotusphere 2007. For the user there are new features that integrate seamlessly into the BlackBerry components such as email management, call logging and direct calendar integration. In addition, with the rich-client installation on the BlackBerry, the user has full access to SFA (Sales Force Automation) and FFA (Field Force Automation) features when in and out of coverage. Further, for BlackBerry administrators, the new BlackBerry edition provides simple Over The Air (OTA) installs and requires zero administrative changes to either the BlackBerry Enterprise Server or the IBM Lotus Domino server. Says Brian Arnold, VP of Research & Development at Interchange Solutions, “The BlackBerry Administrator is going to absolutely love the new Salesplace BlackBerry Edition. It can be seamlessly pushed to hundreds of users at once without the need to touch the actual device, and future upgrades are applied with a simple click of a button. Interchange Solutions continues to be at the forefront of teamwork and collaboration. They utilize the full features of the Lotus Notes platform for instant collaboration and communication by fully integrating Lotus Sametime throughout Salesplace. With the Salesplace B2B offering, Lotus Sametime is further positioned as the communication tool of choice. Prepackaged interfaces within Salesplace bring key CRM aspects of your corporate website directly into Salesplace – with Lotus Sametime visibility seamlessly extended! All Lotus Sametime communication can easily be stored directly within Salesplace so you have a history of all correspondence.

Complementing the strategies of teamwork and collaboration, Lotusphere 2007 features the introduction of essential Salesplace enhancements for Lotus Notes. The new features include advanced menu, form and tab controls, enhanced list management, application launch pads, and further automation of essential replication and Mail and Calendar Integration. With the increased ease-of-use for non-technical users, Arnold confirms, “Each new feature is carefully designed to streamline a specific user activity. Our internal motto is ‘Features for people rather than for technological convenience!’”

A key component of Salesplace being launched during Lotusphere 2007 is the new Analytics Module that allows Salesplace users to “data mine” their own individually relevant data. This allows them to take data from within Salesplace to gather business insight about their customers, prospects, internal processes and products. As a result, they are able to make well-rounded and informed business decisions – based on fact and not emotion.

Also at Lotusphere 2007, the Interchange Solutions team will be demonstrating how Salesplace can utilize News Feeds to keep your SFA and FFA teams completely up to date on news within your organization or industry. Further, with Salesplace, you can publish your own News Feeds, so your clients can receive regular updates and information published directly from your company.
